NOVAGLASS is a company in the forefront of the production of waterproofing membranes in bitumen/polymer, which started its activity in 1983. Thanks to many years of experience both in the waterproofing sector and in the petrochemical sector, Novaglass evidenced a continuous trend of growth, reaching, in the domestic and international scenarios, a leader position in the waterproofing industry.

CHARACTERISTICS PECULIAR TO THE PLASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING COMPOUND
|
|
•RESISTANCE TO U.V. RAYS
•RESISTANCE TO ACIDS AND INORGANIC SALTS
•RESISTANCE TO LOW TEMPERATURES (DOWN TO -25°C ACCORDING TO UE Atc NORM)
•RESISTANCE TO O3
•ABSOLUTE IMPERMEABILITY TO WATER
•RESISTANCE TO INDUSTRIAL ATMOSPHERE, THANKS TO THE HIGH DEGREE OF CHEMICAL INERTIA
•ESISTANCE TO HIGH TEMPERATURE FLOWING
•HIGH DEGREE OF ADHESION MEMBRANE ON MEMBRANE AND MEMBRANE ON OTHER, CLEAN AND DRY SUBSTRATES

The range of Novaglass prefabricated membranes includes one family of elastomeric type products and one of plastomeric type. PLASTOMERIC membranes present a waterproofing compound made with distilled bitumen modified with plastomers (polyolefinic saturated polymers APP - PAO - EPR etc.) with in the centre suitable reinforcement in pure polyester, reinforced fibre glass or composite; even in the case of plastomeric, weight and type of reinforcement adopted, superficial finishing and technical characteristics of the waterproofing compound, all contribute to identify the different products.

|
Mineralised membranes differentiate from plain membranes because of the superficial finishing. The availability of mineral slate in different colours allows to solve aesthetical problems, further to extend the lifetime of the product.
